Social Registry Platform Assessment: Lao PDR
We supported the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Lao PDR in preparing its Poverty Eradication and Development Information System to become a unified national social registry, under the World Bank-financed Reducing Rural Poverty and Malnutrition Project (Phase II) as Full Stack Developer.
Our team carried out an independent review of the platform’s web and Android applications, database and infrastructure. The work included code and security review, UI/UX and data quality testing, and database performance analysis. We also mapped business processes and assessed how the registry can connect with health, civil registration and national ID systems. The result is a prioritised, practical roadmap for making the platform secure, scalable and ready to respond to shocks such as natural disasters.
